Hi All,

This has been my best attempt at meds so far. I am on an introductory dose of generic zoloft, my second week. (I know, not much time). But I really think the anxiety has been lessening for me even though the dose is so low. This morning I definitely had depression, irritability, fatigue but much less anxiety than usual - even with the hurricane madness (I hate storms). I am going to hang in there for six weeks this time and hopefully make it to a therapeutic dose. I feel hopeful. If it can do for my apathy and depression what *I think* it's doing for my anxiety I will be a happy camper.

Elana

Just thought I would post again that I just went to the doctor today, and they switched me from zoloft to wellbutrin because the zoloft was increasing my anxiety terribly. And also gave me Ativan for panic attacks.

Hope the Wellbutrin helps, jlock4507. I know a few people who have had good results with it.

Thanks me too! And I am glad to see that your anxiety is lessening with the Zoloft. I know that everyone is different and not all meds work the same on all people.

Well, that was then.
Today the depression was back. Not anxiety so much as worry and sadness. I have also felt exhausted for the past few days. I go to see the doc tomorrow. I don't think I have been on this stuff long enough to know whether its working or not. (Only 2 weeks). In the past I would have given up on the med too soon.
