As a fellow Psychiatric Patient and been a patient in the psychiatry field for so long I want to come here to warn you guys about theses Drugs that you are wanting to be on. I've been in the Psychiatric hospital 5 times within last year and this year my last visit was in the beginning of this year, nice way to start off a year, eh!? ... Been on medications such as Haldol and wouldn't surprise me that they slip me a drug called Thorazine, which is a STRONG tranquilizer. Haldol is also a strong tranquilizer. I could not believe what happen to me. When I took the medications during night hours. I went Unconsciousness almost immediately and never felt anything like this before. My head felt like it was getting ready to explode! and it felt like my brain was getting ready to detach from my head! It was the worse night that I've ever felt. I couldn't have the ability to open my eyes because it felt like i was paralyzed!

Please go to this site.

http://www.sntp.net/drugs/drugs.htm

Please LEARN both sides of the medication before taking them. Learn the drugs side effects.. I would be ALERT if the drug has tardive dyskinesia as of possible side effect. Look at what the Psychiatric medications, Thorazine, Haldol, and Xanax did to this woman

Theirs so much that Psychiatrists wont tell you simply because they wont want to scare you into not taking it. It's bad for their business, yanno?

I know when I was taking Haldol at the time of my pstchatric hospital stay that I was basically a souless zombie who was drooling at the time and wasn't capable of thinking or have any feelings at all.

If you have similar stories, I'm interested in hearing them as well.
