I know some people here were trying this one out, and I'm wondering how it's going for you. When I first read someone's thread about it a while ago I was really excited to hear some good news about atypicals, and I was thinking about talking to my pdoc about it.

So, how is it going for you? Side effects, effectiveness, anything weird, or just plain great?

Thanks!

I stayed on it for 2 weeks ..but tapered off because it wasnt allowing me to sleep ... For me if i dont sleep enough I will lose it and do stupid things .
I think it would be a great medication if your not having sleep issues .. It did give me more motivation ..but pushed me over the edge with the lack of sleep .

Everyone reacts differantly with medications ,,, I hope it works well for you .

Wishing you Peace and Love ~
Thanks for this!

Wow, I thought it would help with sleep. That's not a good thing for me. Thanks for the response!

Yes, I've needed to report in...I've been on it for two months now and am very pleased. My therapist pointed out the change first. My pdoc is still guarded by I am encouraged. Re: sleep, I have such bad insomnia I was also looking for help in the area. I found it very sedating taking it with my various 9 other meds in the morning. Changing it to 6 p.m. is better - like I don't give the day away. BUT it is not my magic bullet for sleep unfortunately.

Pluses for me: I feel calmer like the background "noise" is lowered. I am thinking clearer and more rationally. So I can tell my therapy is going well, like I'm more involved in it cause I feel better. Things that could be triggers or would have been just don't bother me as badly.

Those are my highlights and I hope for more. I wish you the best with this new one. I've read where others are stopping it. So that's the nature of meds - different for everyone. My situation could change as well. Hope not.
