Hi,
I have been suffering with intrusive violent thoughts for over a year. I have been on Cymbalta 90 mg for the past few months and at my last appointment a few weeks ago my pdoc upped it to 120 since I was still having intrusions of violent thoughts. I feel like since the increase about two weeks ago I have more suicidal ideations and things may have gotten slightly worse. Does anyone else have this experience? Do I call the pdoc? I feel safe but I hate how I'm feeling. I was on Cymbalta bc I seemed to also have anxiety and depression which it helped with but it doesn't seem to being doing much for the intrusions - she said to come back in three months to see how the higher dose has been working but of course to call if there's any problems, etc. I mean I obviously wasn't doing great before the switch so I don't know if I just stick this out.. I just left a message for her regarding this.... |

You need to call!! I was on Cybalta for 7 years.. went up to 120 in the 3rd year... I was so suiciadal is was terrifying!! And even since that I realized I had been suicidal more often while on the Cymbalta period.. You NEED a different antidepressant/ anxiety med.
