Ok here it is, I've been on aplenzin 522 mg for about 2 months now but I've been haveing some struggles in the irritability/anger department. My gp then prescribed Paxil for this, I started to take it (about) but then discovered how hard it's been for people to come off it. I stopped it 3 days ago. What other meds will help with anger that isn't quite so hard to come off of. I'm being treated for depression and possibly a mild form of bipolar.

Aplenzin, though not as likely, can trigger mania in people with bipolar. It looks like you're on the maximum dosage. Are you on any sort of a mood stabilizer? Anger and rage can be a sign of mania. General practitioners are not usually equipped to handle complicated psych issues. I would either ask your gp for a mood stabilizer or get to a psychiatrist ASAP. Even if your gp gives you a mood stabilizer, you may still want to find a pdoc to manage your meds.

A family member has taken Risperidone, as well. They have benefitted greatly from it.
