I recently added abilify, took away prozac and wellbutrin, and added zoloft. Also, I take klonopin when needed. Since giving up the wellbutrin, I am so sleepy all of the time. I sit down and fall asleep. Driving is a nightmare. This might also be a need for more thyroid medication, I'm not sure. Has anyone had similar problems?

I experienced some temporary drowsiness when I started on ability. I always take the ability shortly before I go to bed because of it.

I always felt like the Wellbutrin was more of an "upper" for me. I didn't need naps when I was on it.

Whenever I start a new medication, I'm quite drowsy for at least the first week but it mostly subsides after two weeks. My doctor told me one time that Wellbutrin is unique in that it perks up the mind whereas other anti-depressants do not. So, it's likely you will not have that same perk with your new meds. It is a good idea to have your thyroid checked. I take thyroid medication also, and sometimes my dosage needs adjusting after changing medications.

Wellbutrin is activating, so stopping it could definitely affect your energy level.

Yup - personally, Wellbutrin has been a God-send. For energy and depression.
