so i was thinking to myself. what my last med was missing and what previous meds would help and so on. anyways, then i come to this question. is there a med out there that has both vyvanse and ritalin in it or something like that? im assuming since they are both stimulants its not safe to take them both but they both do what the other one lacks. (anyone else in this same boat?)

FWIW, I take two different meds for ADHD symptoms: Vyvanse and Wellbutrin.

I wasn't able to find a combination med for those two, or any other ADHD meds. However, I would think that taking a low dosage of both would work just the same. It's when you're hitting/exceding the max dosage for multiple meds that you start going into the realm of OD, since those two would stack.
Oh, and Ritalin, Methylin, Metadate, Daytrana and Concerta are all methylphenidate. |

I have Bipolar II and we think ADHD. Throw in a bit of anxiety.
For the BP part I take Lamictin. For the depression part I take Wellbutrin. This aggravates anxiety tho, so I have Benzo's to take. Then for the ADHD I take Concerta. Mostly there is not a miracle drug that fixes all conditions you may be experiencing. But a cocktail of meds can definitely help. |
