Any good lose dose anxiety meds that don't reduce clarity and concentration out there? Xanax makes me UTTERLY disfunctional, and Vistiril makes my memory a bit foggy.

Also, could XR Adderall help, by not hitting me as hard, or by giving a lowerer, sustained dose?

Thanks!

I just started Adderall, although we haven't tried the XR yet, and maybe it's helping. I"ve been told, though, that the XR is easier and smoother than the immediate release.

As for anxiolytics, I actually had a good response to Buspar, although it did utterly defeat any motivation I might have built up. I'm planning, though, once I've had a decent trial period of the Adderall, to try it again. That might be worth trying for you, if you haven't? It's not as obvious as Xanax, but it was effective.

Good luck.
