Has anyone every experienced this? I tremble so bad that it's embarrassing. I'm only taking 40 mg a day, but for some reason I've noticed that I tremble like a leaf. My hands shake constantly. It's like I'm withdrawing or something. My hands shake so bad that when I put on eyeliner or mascara, I have to steady my hand with the other so I don't shake so much! I work with people all day, so shaking like this is really embarrassing!

I also feel very anxious, and have been sweating like a freak. I'd forgotten the sweaty side effect.

I am looking for a therapist right now, and I think I did find one. I got prescribed meds because I went to one of those clinics and I was feeling lower than low. I feel better, but these side effects are getting to me.

Any advice or feedback would be helpful. I've looked up side-effects, and while these seem to be "normal", I find the shakiness troubling. Thank you!

I get shaky if I take it on an empty stomach. I've also had to cut back on caffeine since starting.
Thanks for this!

Those are not "normal" side effects; those are serious side effects and indicative of serotonin syndrome, which has the potential to cause seizures. You need to tell your doctor. Are you very sensative to meds, or is it just the Prozac? Hope you start feeling better!
Thanks for this!

I understand what you mean! I'm on Depakote and it has given me bad tremors. People always comment on how shaky I am and it's super embarrassing!

40 is not a small dose, the max is 80, I think people don't usually go over 60; I am a pretty big girl and I can feel the difference between 30 and 40 mg. I am maintaining on 20 mg. can you talk to someone about how to decrease your dose?

I've taken both Prozac and Zoloft at the same time before, and I used to shake like crazy. I also sweated like a fiend.

I am going to call a psychiatrist first thing in the morning and see what I can do. I'm kind of worried... I feel better, but weird and anxious at times.

When you take multiple ADs you need to be very careful as their effects stack, and many are synergystic, so you can end up with a high blood-plasma content at much lower doses. If your problem is in fact being caused by excess serotonin, benzos will counter-act it.

I think you can take propanolol to counteract the tremors.
