Hi all - So in the hosp they started me on those two (and also Cymbalta) and since then - about 3 weeks - I've had what seems to be horrif fibromyalsia flare ups. But I am beginning to think it is connected.
Symptoms also include dizziness, nasious (sp), less ability to control inappropriate speech.... I think there's more but I can't remember. Anyone else with chronic pain have a spike in symptoms with either of those two listed meds? (or anyone suddenly start having pain? Thanks for any info!

Hi Kiya,

I was on Abilify and noticed a significant difficulty in controlling sounds that my mouth made. Also had some weight gain, and bad tremor. I HATED all 3 of those side effects, others (which I can't recall) were less significant and liveable.

The tremor I think was the worst side effect, as it took being off the Abilify for a few months for that effect to stop! Not being able to produce speech was another biggie, but that effect turned around quickly. I quickly went back to normal weight.

I know that I've tried Tegretol, but I don't recall any side effects.

Best wishes to you!

Thanks Shez!
I have noticed ... don't know what to call it... not tremors, but tremmoring of my eyes within my lashes. To me it looks like the lashes are moving, but they're not. Also feeling sick constantly. i did notice a lot of inflamation gain. I talked with the Pdoc today and am going to taper Abilify to see if it is that one causing these things. Oh and insomnia too. Maybe in a week I'll get some sleep.
