My daughter says she is taking an antipsychotic called preventazine but I can't find anything about this on the internet... she could be pronouncing it wrong and therefore I am spelling it wrong.... ??

I've also heard that once you are on Lithium , you are on it for life? Is this true? It was suggested to her that she go on Lithium but she refused. She also takes Lorazapem.

Thanks for any insight...

Not true about the Lithium at all. I had two different doctors put me on lithium and I got toxic on it both times.

No clue on the other drug. Ask her to read the spelling from the prescription bottle.

Yes, you spelled it wrong...so did I when I first heard of it! I found the correct spelling to be:Perphenazine

A google search will provide more information than I can repost, but also check out a site called: MedLinePlus.
Hope it helps.
