Anyone taking the generic of Geodon? I went to get my prescription filled today and the pharmacist told me that there's now a generic form of Geodon and asked if I wanted to try it or stick with the brand name. Since the price of the brand name went up from $30 to $50 with my insurance and the generic is $5, I asked her to order it for me. I'm a little wary of trying the generic, but for that much of a price difference I figured I'd give it a try and if it turns out badly go back to the brand name.

So far things are going well. I haven't noticed any real difference with the generic - it still seems to work just the same, and for $45 less than the brand name.
Thanks for this!

I just got a refill too and will start the generic this week. We'll see how it goes. Glad to hear it is going well for those that are already taking it; feel a little better about it. Thanks for this thread and for the responses.
