Im on 45ml mirtazipan. I've noticed that my muscles ache and I find I am very stiff. I reduced my dose myself too 3ml and find I am not so stiff. Anyone else have this issue with this AD?

I have been taking it for several years to help me sleep. I only take 7.5 mg and have not had any side effects that I can attribute to it.

I take 45mg and don't have any muscle aches.

Muscle aches/joint pains from a medication are generally a bad sign and you should consult your doctor. One of the more severe possible side effects of mirtazapine is a deficiency in sodium; perhaps its messing with your potassium levels? Muscle pains can pop up when you don't have enough.
