ok, so, I am supposed to be taking lithium, lamictal, and saphris. Eventually, I got to the point that I was having so much fatigue that my mom got angry and called me braindead. I had fatigue for 4 weeks. So, I went off all the meds for 2 weeks to see if the fatigue would go away and it didn't.

At one point, I was on vyvanse, but it didn't help me out at the time. Well, today, I tried the vyvanse again, without permission. I actually had energy! I could have cried of joy! Now, today, along with the vyvanse, I took my lithium, and in a few days, I will add my lamictal back. I will keep that combo.

My question is........is saphris ok with vyvanse? I really need to know. I want this whole combo to work for me, but I don't want to be a danger to myself since I don't know about the drug interactions. I have heard of people taking saphris and vyvanse, but I wanted to ask you all if you know. I need to be careful. I just want my old self back.

Call your doctor and tell him what you want to be on and why. You do realize if you don't, you're going to run out of your amphetamine right? What next street drugs?

In my experience, doctors will prescribe what you ask for especially when you've been on it before.

I realized how dumb I was being. I got no sleep last night because of the vyvanse. I am just going to go back to my regular meds. If the fatigue comes back, maybe my pdoc can safely prescribe me something to help with it, or run blood work. Thanks cocoa, for the help. I told myself, I was taken off the vyvanse for a good reason to begin with.

I was on saphris for a month - it did nothing for depression and I gained 25lbs. I would not recommend it.

I tried Saphris once, this past Thursday. I had a psychotic episode and my pupils were pinpoints as though I were on heroin.

My daughter, a high school jr, has bipolar

She did well for almost three years on Geodon.. but it pooped out earlier this year. Latuda was a disaster. Saphris was next - and it was like a miracle! I had my daughter 'back.'

She's been taking it now for three months. 10mg at night. She's stable, and has had no weight gain. She hates the taste of it, but has been willing to tolerate it because she does NOT want to go through another manic episode any time soon.

She also takes Vyvanse.

I also had great results on Saphris. No weight gain. Great mood stabilizer. But about two monthes into it I had a horrible allergic reaction, like second degree burns to my tongue.

try Latuda. just be sure to take it exactly at the same time of day each day. Don't take vyvanse after 7AM if you want to sleep.

I was on latuda and it was a nightmare for me even though I followed the eating 350 calls before taking it I still vomited within 10 min of taking it and had no idea when it was coming. It was not my med of choice, I'm glad someone can tolerate it out there. Saphris is working great for me with other meds.
