Im womdering if anyone is taking these two together while coming off of one to go on the other? Id like to switch over to Risperidone as Geodon is not working well.

If you will be switching antipsychotics, your prescriber will know how to do it, if a taper is needed, the rate of taper, etc. If you taper down the risperdal at the same time you taper up the geodon, this is called a "cross-taper" or "cross-titration." Your prescriber will know if this is necessary or advised.
