Is it normal to be severely depressed and have sucide thoughts more then normal? My doc is closed today just started to take yeterday. 1mg 3x a day was on Xanax before and took off because it didn't do anything for anxiety opt panic attacks

I would imagine suicidal ideation is a potential side effect. I took Ativan a few weeks back and my NP told me it was and to look out for it. I know your doctor is closed today, but do they have an on-call line you can call? Often you call the office line and then press a button to have an answering service page a doctor about the bad side effect you think you're having to your medication. Would this be a possibility?

If you feel you are a danger to yourself, please do go to get outside help from whatever source you feel most comfortable with (hotline, emergency room, etc.). I hope you feel better soon. ++

I got patched through to a nurse. She said not to stop taking it because there is a sezuire risk and that I should go to the er. She offered to call but I lied and said I'd call. I took a migraine pill that normally knocks me out. I don't want to go to the hospital because of the stuff happening with my husband nor can I get hold of the lady I dog sit for. I can't afford to have my husband get done type of grounds to take my dog I need my dog. Without them I would be lost
