I just got on Lamictal again. I have been on this med before but usually with an antidepressant.
This time I'm just on Lamictal. plus Klonopin and Lunesta in case I need those.
I'm sleepy!!
and thirsty!!

Do you think this is the Lamictal? how long does it last?

Klonopin will make you sleepy...I take it to try and help me to sleep at night (insomniac). (But I am taking 4 mgs which I guess is alot, although it's never really knocked me out, so its not like I built up a tolerance to it to get to 4; nothing before 4 ever worked.) But it can help me fall asleep if it can beat my anxiety. My anxiety usually wins.
I did not have good side effects with Lamictal, but I don't think either of these drugs have made me thirsty...I would call a pharmacist or look at drugs. com and see if one of your meds can cause dry mouth. I had that with some other med once and it drove me nuts.
I was just thinking, are you taking the Klonopin at night with the Lunesta? If so, perhaps that might be a bit much for your system to take re: sleepiness, but I have no experience with Lunesta personally. But if you are still feeling tired the next day and all the time, one of those might be need to be adjusted.
Thanks for this!

My body is wierd.. sometimes klonopin makes me tired, other times it wakes me up. my anxiety gets so bad that all I can do sometimes is sleep. Today I only took a half of my dose of Klonopin. I can never really sleep at night, but I don't take any K after say 2pm.
