i take abilify, ativan and wellbutrin. I have this problem when every spring my libido goes through the roof and i can barely function. i feel like im going crazy and I dont know what other meds might help. Any suggestions are welcome.

So do I understand your libido is to high? Most would love this on their psych meds. Try zoloft for a libido squasher. Or any typical antideppressant, the old ones.

Have you ever tried risperidone instead of abilify? It might shut you down completely though due to effects on prolactin. Another oddball suggestion have you tried the blueblocker sunglasses which are bright orange? A lot of people use them for electronics at night so that their sleep isn't disrupted. There is something about circadian rhythm and the effects of blue light. If you respond to more light like in the spring maybe using blueblockers would help. Sort of like the opposite of light therapy that they do for SAD. Just an idea but what could it hurt to try.

WOW i wish you hadnt wrote that everyone will be it tears, its a dream come true for most depressives. If you have a partner or access to a few safe one,s enjoy yourself. if it bother,s you that much stop the wellbutrin
