i started taking my Neurontin last night and thinking that my body cannot handle it. My chest started pounding several times for no reason, I was very restless and tossing and turning ALOT more than usual when I tried to sleep and I was wide awake until about 4am! Plus my right arm is hurting so much more and number and not sure if that is because I used it too much yesterday or from the med! Anybody else have these side effects? Do I try it again tonight or no?

Hmm.I don't remember those symptoms at all. I suggest you see the side effects from googling "Neurontin." If they are ones, then you might want to call your doc to see what he/she says. I'm thinking Neurontin is supposed to relax the nerves--not cause pain and the other things.

If I run out of my neurontin and clozapine I have insomnia that persists until I renew my meds. No symptoms like what you describe.

No side effects here, either. I agree with PAYNE1; check side-effects online, or call your doc.

I have no side effects from neurontin as well, checking the manufacturer page or the generic name gabapentin too.
