I recently started on 15mg of focalin and I have no appetite at all. I don't understand because the positive effects of the medication have worn off by about 6 hours (i metabolize meds really quickly) so shouldn't that mean my appetite would be back as well? but it doesn't ever come back.

That's a pretty normal side effect of that class of meds. Just watch your weight and let doc know if you lose too much.
