Hello all,

I have recently started on Bupropion 100mg twice a day and am starting to experience a few side effects such as increased sweating and today I am starting to feel shaky. I am not literally shaking, just feel shaky. I know that it takes a few weeks to get the medicine in your system and for side effects to either increase or decrease. Does anyone have any input on similar side effects only a few days after starting?

Thanks for reading.

Well, not everyone has the same side effects from the same medications.

I started at once a day. I was told for some people, Bupropion, increases anxiety. I know at 150 mg once a day, I could not take a coffee. And I did get anxiety which was threaten to grow into agitation and a vibration feeling at its worst.

My body took over 6 weeks to get used to it and get the right dosage.

Hope the side effects resolve quickly for you.

I am having the same side effect, but am taking 150mg, once a day -- I am also taking effexor xr, 150mg -- 2 of these a day -- so I am really hot -- am having a difficult time with this side effect -- am seeing my doctor this coming week to talk to him about the fact that both these meds have the side effect of excessive sweating -- I am hoping there is something else I can take with the effexor that won't have that bothersome side effect!!

Thanks for your input. I did call my doc and he said to stop the meds for a few days and give it a week and then restart and see if the same symptoms come back. At that point then we can discuss a plan of action.

So did your anxiety eventually level out after the initial increase from the meds?
