To summerize since 2007:
Xyprexa cause too much weight gain
Geodon gave me severe restlessness
Abilify caused shaking, uncontrolable mouth movements and diabetes
Saphris caused mouth movements
Clozaril put me in the psych ward twice and caused difficulty speaking
All of these took away my personality

Then there was Fanapt. It seemed like a miracle. No movement problems and I got my personality back! But it slowly creeped up on me... I am experiencing bad paranoia toward my husband and Im hallucinating a bit. This med ia not working like it should.

What else can they do?

Risperidone is pretty good and a lot of people like seroquel although it can make you tired. That or a dose increase.

Alternately you could work on coping skills. It's rare for any of these drugs to be 100% effective anyway have you tried any sort of therapy to decrease stress? Yoga? Breathing exercises. I needed a combination of cbt with drugs to fully block my psychosis.
