I've noticed that when I don't take my meds (prozac) until later in the morning--like 10:30 or 11--the side effects are worse, and the meds don't seem to work as well. But when I take 'em first thing, the opposite happens. Is it my imagination?

Hmm I sometimes take my Prozac (generic) at varying times in the morning -- sometimes really early like about seven or eight and sometimes not until noon. Some days my side effects do bother me but I haven't (until now) considered the possibility that the timing of the meds could have an effect on an increase or worsening of side effects. I should start to take a note of it.... thanks

Try if you can to take your meds same time every day , even if you have to set an alarm clock. They all have different half lives, going over or under your set time can a will cause problems. If in hospital the med trolly don't come round at all times of the day , just set times . ps if your lucky

also good to watch if you are taking your meds on an empty or full stomach. that can make a big difference to me. Try to take them at them same time everyday and usually on a meal.
