Just saw pdoc (new old pdoc -- I saw her during the semester I took off from school). Wow were we productive! She could tell almost instantly that I am hypomanic, and I filled her in on the major details of my life right now and what I've been doing in terms of meds since last seeing her and whatnot...

And now, the cocktail of the hour, what we hope will bring me down, help me sleep and keep me level, at least for the time being:

  • Seroquel (starting at 100mg, and up to 300mg if needed at nigh and up to 50mg PRN in the morning/day)
  • Klonopin (up to 2mg at night)
  • Viibryd (40mg for my fun little OCDness)
And thank God, she took me off Latuda! It was certainly better than nothing, but I was never a real fan of it, especially since you have to take it with food. (And I don't know about others, but that was real with me -- if I didn't take it with enough, it made me vomit).

So...maybe I'll get some sleep tonight!

Only thing I regret from the appt is not saying anything about the brain zaps I've been experiencing. I meant to, but well, here I am all hypomanic like and we talked about so many other things that I just plain forgot with everything else running through my head.

Oh well. Maybe they'll stop now anyway.
