Anyone experience increased anxiety on Zoloft? I've had increased anxiety...I don't know if it's the Zoloft but I've never had anxiety like this before. I've been taking the Zoloft for about a month. I'm on 50 mg and the anxiety just recently started.

I've taken Zoloft for years. No increased anxiety. I hope you'll tell your doc. Everybody's physiology is different. Hope you feel better soon.

You could have hit a wall at 50mg an need to go to100mg , 50mg is the start up dose.
Thanks for this!

That's what I try to tell people on the forum who give up after a couple of days of side effects , they could last weeks before a break through, but they think im winding them up about it, you have to be in it to win it there is no easy ride.

SSRI's have a nasty habit of making you feel worse before you feel better, and feeling more anxious during the start up is very common. Did you just recently up the dose? I don't know much about Zoloft, but I know some meds get this start up feeling within the first couple of weeks and others after the 3-4 weeks so it may be the side effects just hit you if you have been on that dose the whole time

It is usually always worth waiting out the 6-8 weeks on a med. 8 weeks is better.
