I have been on 75 mg of seroquel at bedtime since May. Shortly there after I began to experience hair loss. A little at first and now a lot. My hair is completely different, down to texture, strength and growth. My hair stylist noticed thinning and some bald spots and I freaked out. My hair has always been healthy and one of the parts of me I took pride in. Wondering if others experience/d hair loss as well or if its more stress related--which I am very doubtful of??? Anyone? ???

I do however find that a week(more or less) after a very stressful time/event in my life I will experience significant hair loss, but for me it isn't a permanent thing, I think it has to do with the different hormones the body releases when we are under extreme stress. __________________ |

I have not heard it cause hair loss per se but it can cause hypothyroid that can cause change of hair quality and even hair loss. Statistically more than one in 100 get hypothyroid symptoms from this med.
