Im on Prozac, Zoloft, risperdone, and trazadone. I'm getting weird vision off and on mostly when waking. I will try my best to describe it....
It looks like I can see after images if I move my hand. You know like when a cartoon character runs and there is the images behind them.
Trying to figure out if its the meds or if I need a eye doctor

I would guess the meds but you'd really need to ask the doc who prescribed all that medication.

It's more likely than not it is side effects of one or more of your meds. Risperidone can cause what you are describing- which SOUNDS like what are usually referred to as visual trails [sometimes palinopsia, I think?]- it's doesn't always happen but not terribly rare. It may go away with time, but might not.

You should call your doctor to discuss this, more than the risperidone could be causing this and of course, it might NOT be the meds.
However, it is possible your doctor may work with you to come up with a different dosing schedule that could potentially help this issue.

Uh... I am about as far from any kind of health professional as you can get, by the way. I just took risperidone and trazodone for a while and so did some of my friends.

Aziza, at one point I was on prozac, tarazadone (sp) and had the same side affect. It was very weird, so it just might just be the meds.

I had the vision trails when I was on risperidone. I also had facial tics. My Dr took me off it immediately and put me on seroquel. Problem solved. Definitely see your Dr.
