I posted this in the bipolar forum too but I was hoping someone here could help too.
Has anyone had persistent headaches that just won't go away from meds? I get one about every other day. I'm not talking about minor ones either, but pain bordering on migraine territory. It seems like no amount of headache medication or water gets rid of them. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know I spend too much time on the computer because of work (and PC), but they start about an hour after I take meds in the morning. Please help!

Since you spend a lot of time on the computer, perhaps your headaches are coming from the computer screen. Try turning the brightness of the monitor down a little will help reduce the glare. You can also try an anti-glare filter that fits over the screen. Is your vision the least bit blurry? From personal experience, I've found that not keeping the prescription up to date in my glasses can lead to horrendous headaches.

Abilify can cause headaches. Landed someone I know in ER because she thought she had a stroke.

For me, Effexor caused consistent headaches so bad I went to get a brain scan.
