Been doing a few weird thing lately. My P'doc mentioned changing to Saphris at night. I'm only taking 100mg of Seroquel with 4mg of Klonolpin at night.

How have other people found Saphris?. I think I took 1 pill of Saphris once during the day (my mistake) and was flattened. Does Saphris take a while to get used to and then things feel more normal? or does it still have a powerful kick after a few weeks?

Help please.

I take the max dose of Saphris, 20 mg, right before bed. Knocks me out cold. There is no way I'd take it during the day.

Yes, I'm ok during the day, I wake up fine, but need the full 8 hours of sleep. If I fall asleep on the couch and don't wake up until midnight to take my meds, I suffer when the alarm goes off at 5 am!

I'm surprised you haven't gotten more responses...Saphris has been out for awhile now.

I take Saphris and lithium...the combination really works for me. I hope you have the same experience.

Saphris was godawful for me, so I'm not sure my opinion helps much. I took it at night and was so restless, couldn't sleep at all and felt completely out of it. Seroquel is the lesser of the anti p's for me but I'm also very med sensitive.

I started it last month and really like the results. I take it at night. It'll knock you out.

I also get to take cymbalta in the morning...... just scared that the combo will make me feel dopey during the day. I have tried so many drugs over the years with so many side affects that I am wary of each one that gets mentioned now.

Thanks for all the responses. I am going through some physical issues with meds there too so I might wait until that has been sorted before I take the plunge on this one.
