In a few hours (once morning hits) I will add a low dose of aripiprazole (a partial dopamine agonist) to a MAOI (tranylcypromine). I'm taking 30 mg tranylcypromine and have had enough of feeling unwell. No one seems to know exactly how the two will interact (sure, high dosages can be lethal, even I understand that), but it's not like I'm wanting to OD, I just want to feel well again. I will take 7.5 mg to start with since I can quarter 30 mg tablets. Does anyone have any information I should know before I do so?

I personally don't, but glad you are reaching out, and hope you find someone more familiar with your med issues! The best!

I actually feel pretty stupid because I realised it's actually an evening med. Got it confused somehow, and yes I was feeling bouts of tiredness that day. I only took 7.5 mg yesterday morning, but will continue doing so tonight. The reason I hesitate to call my doctor is because I've learned doctors don't know anything, and he'll just suggest not to do it, but I was feeling better on aripiprazole, despite feeling extremely tired about two months into treatment.
