I called my pdoc yesterday and told her that I'm pretty much falling apart. Within an hour, she called me back and we set up an appointment for tomorrow. (God I love her for her responsiveness!!!)

Because my pdoc always listens to what I have to say and respects my concerns and wishes (within reason, of course), I don't want to go in with no ideas on how to make things better...but to be honest, I really have none.

I'm currently taking:

Seroquel (IR): 200mg
Sertraline (Zoloft): 50mg

Dx: Bipolar (originally II, been changed to I...so I don't really know, but whatever).

Current state: Depressed, extremely anxious, OCD up the wazoo as well.

The obvious solution looks like I should increase the Zoloft, but both pdoc and I are wary of upping that too much because it has made me manic in the past. The other obvious solution looks like increasing the Seroquel, but I've already tried doing that twice and I got too many side effects that I just couldn't shake, even with a small (50mg) increase.

So...does anyone have any ideas? Talk to me!
Hugs from:

You're pdoc would be the best to know.
But kinda sounds like one of those times where more than one med type of med could possibly help.
I am unclear on how Seroquel and zoloft act together.
But what about something like how abilify (as much as i despise and refuse to take that med lol) and the antidepressant(or something like this kind of combo)? or maybe zoloft isn't working in the way that it should?
Again, your pdoc would be the best to know on this and i'm no doctor lol
(just someone who had their own experiences, and someone who wants to help)

I hope your appt today goes well

So we're upping my Zoloft (and if need be the Seroquel too), and I'm going to take klonopin again for sleep. Hopefully this works!
