Soo...
I've been on Zoloft for 3 years now. I'm very happy with it so don't tell me to switch (I tried 5 others before this). But I have one big issue.

So Zoloft increases my libido a lot. I am a young woman, so at first I assumed it was hormones and natural but its not.
I notice this particularly when I up my dose (every year or so).

I've talked to a ton of dr.s and there is nothing they can do unless I want to switch. I don't want to switch, as this side effect, while annoying, isn't as bad as it could be.

Until recently I had a boyfriend, but now partnerless its really quite distracting. I probably lose 2-3 hours per day, daydreaming about sex etc...

Does anyone else have this problem? I know most of the time libido goes down and yeah that sucks but sometimes I wished mine did too because this is so distracting.

I'm a senior in high school, and I want to have a partner my own age. No creepy old men/internet people. However, boys my age either can't be discrete and/or are virgins and want a relationship.

When I realized the Zoloft was doing this and it wasn't me, I thought it was funny at first. My pych laughed at me (I was laughing too). But its actually horribly distracting and I cannot go a full minute without thinking about sex.

Really don't know what to do.

My dr.s say there is no anti-libido drug that I can take, as most people aren't interested in that.

Help???

NEW BATTERIES , there are loads of new vibrators now , us men are slowly being deleted , My wife and myself have them for external stimulation only . but the secret for women is powerful the better hit the spot every time , but then again we use them for foreplay only.

I think I have the same problem but from wellbutrin (not for sure) but I'm actually really happy about it because for the longest time I had no interest in sex and it really messed up my relationship. Now my bf is happier then ever! As most men would be lol. So if you do happen to find a man (which I'm sure you will) they will love this about you! But I'm sure it can be frustrating right now
