I take cymbalta. klonopin (just switched to generic/don't like it compared to brand) and Geodon for "depression with bipolar features". Why can't I stop counting and why is my heart racing?

well you should call your pdoc...the Geodon should not cause that...I don't know about Cymbalta...and the klonopin should reduce any anxiety you have

Your psychiatrist should be able to answer these questions for you. I find generic Konopin works just fine but never tried the name brand and I do know that can make a difference. I never had any trouble with Cymbalta. I haven't ever tried Geodon, however, each has a different effect on different.

I agree with the posters above me too.
Cymbalta in my experience will do that. Its very rare from what my pdoc told me, but my pulse was getting up to 160 at sitting.
My pupils were also so dilated that you couldn't see the colors of my eyes.

It also depends on how long you've been on these meds. and if you accidentally took an extra dose, or forgot a dose.

If your heart is racing, go to the emergency room. They'll put you on an EKG machine to make sure you're not having a heart attack or something like that. If that goes well, get an appointment to see the doctor prescribing your meds and insist that he/she make adjustments. BP causes heart problems over time. Don't let it get an early start.
