Hi,
I just got off the phone with medicare and the cheaper anti-psychotic drugs are Zyprexa and Seroquel. I also believe Rispordal is not too expensive. Thanks, TnT

I have good prescription coverage, so generics are $5.00, brand names for most are $25, a few that are off formulary are $60 (but I don't have any of those right now). All but one of my whole family's meds are generic at this moment, so our monthly med bill is about $55.

current insurance all my prescriptions are free as long as they aren't new new.
When I start going to the VA all my prescriptions will be 8 dollars for 30 days. Then after another few months those will be free as well. |

I have generic Zoloft that is about $1.70. It was cheaper (97 cents), but the dose/number of pills increased.

My asthma meds cost more than my psych meds.

I have insurance, so generics are $15 bucks, name brands that do not have a generic are $40, and name brands that do have a generic (since they want you using generic) are $60. Not the greatest insurance, but better than paying full price.
My pharmacy puts how much insurance saved you on the info sheet. One of mine, I save about $375, another about $150, and the third about $50. So even if my co-pays are higher than some people's I am still saving a butt-load. |

I'm on generic everything, but I am on a boatload of meds, so my monthly bill was about $420, but I just got approved for provincial drug coverage for people who have high prescription costs relative to their income, so all my meds are free, once the deductible is paid. My deductible is $300 something spread out over 4 quarters. It was such a huge relief to get on public insurance.

I never pay more than $50 for my prescriptions, and that's for brand name. Generics only cost me $5, except for klonopin which for some reason is only $2.
But I also get meds from a mail order pharmacy so I can get 3 months supply of my AD and AP (Zoloft and Seroquel -- generic of course) for a total of $10 I believe. |

PEOPLE in England that work pay a set price per each med , I don't no the amount but something like £9 a script , so 10 meds would be £90 a lot of money , but if your on these meds regular you can pay a one off payment of say £40 and get has many meds has you like on your £40, just pass the form test.

![]() The current prescription charge is £7.85 A three monthly PPC is £29.10. This saves you money if you need four or more items in three months. A 12 month certificate is £104.00 (ten monthly installments) and saves money if 14 or more items are needed in 12 months. Worth noting that my mum is on an antidepressant, cant remember what exactly, but until recently her NHS GP happily gave her private prescription because it only cost her £4.95 a month! Getting kinda curious now, I want to go ask what the actual cost of all the meds I was on is |
