I am on lamictal currently. I do not seem to have any problems I can associate with it. I do not know if it is working because I was put on Abilify before I got to a therapeutic dose. Wish I could offer more info. I will know eventually if is working because I am being tapered off the Abilify. I am now on 200 mg of lamictal.
Thanks for this!

Hey winkynjr-I hear you! I hate taking meds, but for me without them I can't survive! I'm on Lamictal for bpolar and I find it helpful but only at a very high dose (600mg)! It keeps the depressive episodes further apart. For me I need to adjust my med cocktail quite often to be stable. But, the AAP's like Latuda are the meds that keep me stable on a daily basis. Usually, pdocs put bpolar individuals on both an anti-convulsant like Lamictal and anti-psychotic, like Latuda, and sometimes even add an anti-depressant like Viibryd, as well. Best of luck!!

give it a shot. If you don't get a rash while titrating up then you're good to go.

as if it will work? who knows.

Did nothing for my bipolar depression.
