Does anyone have any experience with this medication? It is an older one, originally designed for as an anti-psychotic and I guess replaced by all the new atypicals. At lower doses it is classified as a major tranquilizer, but is not addictive and difficult to abuse. I have found it to be useful and safer than something like Seroquel in the sense that it can't be abused.

I have PTSD so use it either as an adjunct for sleep or when in extreme agitation. It works stronger than a benzo when I'm triggered. I really stand by it and just wanted to put that out there in case people were having issues of this kind and looking for something that they might not have seen or heard about since it really doesn't seem to be used that much any longer.
