My pdoc restarted me on lithium, lamictal, and wellbutrin xl. I've been on all three before with no problem, but this time I am having daily stomach issues of various description (I'll leave it at that). I don't think it is the lamictal. I restarted it first and had no problems. This started at the same time I started the other two. My pdoc has had me move the lithium to evening to see if that helped, but it hasn't, so I'm beginning to think it is the wellbutrin xl.

Anyone else had stomach upset with wellbutrin xl? Like I said, I've taken it before with no problem. I suppose it could be unrelated to meds completely, but the timing seems to point to a med issue.

You can be descriptive with us I can't help you since I've had no experience with that medication. I can share a story that might make you more comfortable. I took a med once that caused severe constipation. My then doc advised me to eat lots of avocados Another med caused severe diarrhea. That doc recommended lots of yoghurt. Did I come close to the mark?

Yes. (How's that for an answer.) I might try those suggestions though. A diet change might offset the problem. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have taken all 3 of the meds you cite, though not all at the same time (I am taking Lithium and Lamictal now). But I did have stomach problems when put on Wellbutrin a while back. I stopped taking it after a few weeks owing to stomach issues.

I moved all meds to evening and that has seemed to fix the problem.
