I should be on 20mg the standard dose with my also tolerance 4mg Ativan a day, but i just scrape the limit on 10mg walking a very tight rope . The reason is it free,s up the sex side effects somewhat on 10mg . I have been feeling rough of late you no the signs head full of fog, sweating, mind numbing headaches, ect ect, so this morning I moved back up the 20mg . I stuck it out has long has I could , maybe its the winter blues :

Up date , I am returning to 10mg after 1 day , I will battle through this I am just having a temp melt down . The sedation of the extra 10mg only fuel,s depression I find in me. The recommended dose is 10mg over 60 year old for some reason , its weird how increasing some meds just over your limit adds to your down fall, im not taking more just to add bigger side effects

It is weird, but I guess the body can only deal with so much. I am approaching 60, so it will be interesting to see what if any drug dose changes happen to me.

the 10 mg Lexapro max for the oldies has been like that a few years but many docs ignore it , its just the makers covering there back if problems arise. its seems the reason is half life of your meds increase %50 has you get old, plus Lexapro 10mg is the same has 20mg citalopram
