This morning I started taking Lexapro. It took a lot to get me to this point because I am so sensitive to medications. My T and Pnp have been discussing it for a few months. They have mentioning adding a new medication for a few months now but are always supportive and listen to me. We have debated if my mood was a medication issue or a result of everything going on around me (stressful job, 3 very active teenagers, 2 with ADHD, husband spent ten months on workman's comp, then he went back to work and got laid off just to name a few). Finally T mentioned medications so I caved as I just can't "fight" them anymore.

So I started it today with a lot of anxiety. I am SOOO tired and have a horrible upset stomach and a terrible taste in my mouth... Right now I so hate my life...

Because you made your mind up about trying a med, you feel wasted and tired, the mouth taste and stomach upset is most like to be anxiety. I sorry but most times it gets worse before better, as the med finds its level for you, then hopefully you will slowly feel better
Thanks for this!
