Just wondering...
I take sodium valporate as a mood stabiliser (and no, I do not have epilepsy!). I take 1200mg/day. I just met someone who takes 2000mg/day. I thought I was on a pretty high dose. Can someone give me an idea of what a low dose vs a mod dose vs a high dose is? I'm just curious! Thanks.

Sodium valproate = Depakote??
I took 750 mg back when I took it and was told that was quite a low dose. I don't know what might be considered high. Sorry! Candy |

It completely depends on your trough blood level, and where your doctor wants your level to be. I assume they are taking regular blood levels, otherwise the dose is really shooting in the dark.
