Dangerous?

You know what is funny? That the ZOMG-HORRIBLE effects of this herb you list here... are simmilar to thoise you insisted people should tolerate when starting on meds.

Point is: if it makes you feel bad, don't take it. Don't pull the "really ill" card. As I said yesterday, taking **** that makes you worse is not heroic.

Also, any herbalist will tell you not to take herbs long term. Make breaks when you use it longer. Some herbs you can use pretty much daily, but the others should be used three weeks max, with a week break in between if you need to use it longer/constantly.

If the depression is long term ,and the herbs are not long term: what do you do in between.

Also, they are pills, not herbs. I wonder if you could even recognize St. john's wart if you seen it in the nature, eh.

You started a thread about St John's wort. So you expected us to sit on our asses, recognize our wrong ways with loving the nature and start praying to the pill?

And you don't overdose that easily.

MODERATORS: Maybe you could also notice the cutesy "you gonna die" line.

I am done with you shitting on things that aren't pills, with your posting bad advice, shaming people, making mental health into peeing contest.

Exactly. You don't look for anything except what you already know. If it works for you it must work for everybody, right? If you can tolerate it then everybody should be able to, right?

Except you have missed the entire point of alternative options... Meds are actually INCLUDED in the list of options for many people. What's new is meds are not the ONLY option.

For you it's MED + exercise or nutrition or whatever.

For others it might be the same OR it might be HERB + meditation + a gaps diet OR some other combination.

Why is that so hard to accept?

Because this is a meds board , put you thoughts on alternative. but you don't want to because nobody goes there ,don't that tell you something.

ok, enough is enough.

Remember this is a support board. There is nothing supportive in this thread.

I would respectfully suggest that if you disagree philosophically on meds / non meds, that you practice good self-care and step away from the threads, rather than posting at each other which is against community guidelines.

I am closing this thread as it has outlived its usefullnes.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
