Hello,

I am posting because I am experiencing akathisia and it is terrible. People think I am really nervous and that is why I am moving but it is because I was on Invega for many months and the movements still haven't gone away even after I have stopped taking it. I got akathisia from Geodon and many other drugs too, but nobody seemed to think it was a big deal. I am very sensitive to these drugs, only Seroquel worked to not have movements. I am not sure how long it is going to take for these movements to stop but I have read it could be years. They have me on propranolol and clonazepam but now that I am off invega they are taking me off clonazepam and I think my movements are getting more intense. I just wanted to share my story to see if there were others out there dealing with this terrible condition.
