I take it at noon just because I take several other meds in the AM. I think it doesn't particularly matter with lamictal because my pdoc's had me move it over the years.

OK, so it seems like people take it a different times. I used to take it at night and now in the a.m. I've been feeling a little spacey lately, but maybe it's the new trazadone and Xanax I take at bedtime . . .

I take it in the morning. I have never noticed any side effects with it. Trazadone does make alot of people feel kind of hungover in the morning. I think trazadone did that to me when I first started taking it but then it would only work for four hours and I would start waking up again. Now I take Remeron and Klonopin for sleep.

Morning and night. It has a relatively high discontinuation rate because it's efficacy wanes after seven months of use. Also it made me hypomanic.

Trazodone made me a psycho. I almost stopped breathing on it and ran about the house muttering to myself.

I take a 200mg tablet that looks like a blue shield, and I take it as soon as I get up in the morning. I also take 100mg of Zonegran also to compliment the Lamictal. I think it is overkill, but last time my moods went haywire I got tased by police, so I don't want that to happen again.

I've been on Lamictal for almost 3 months. I take 100mg in the morning & 100mg at bedtime. However, I am seriously considering decreasing the dose and stopping it eventually. I have had a number of side effects (slight rash, skin breaking out terribly, cognitive difficulties), but haven't noticed any great improvement. It seems that for most people Lamictal is an excellent med.
