I take 200mg of Topamax throughout the day and since spring has started my allergies are getting bad, can I take allergy medication with my pills? I do not see my doctor for 3 more weeks so I can't ask her yet, will this be ok? Are the any bad effects?

I take 400 mg topamax also take Zyrtec with it no problem sometimes Benadryl , pdoc says its fine I have no side effects.

I am on 500mgs of topiramate and take claritin every day. Some nights I also take benedryl and then some days I take zyrtec on top of that- I feel like I've taken allegra with all of the above too, and it's gone through my GP and my pdoc. This would suggest you are probably fine, but if you have any doubt you can definitely call a pharmacist- knowing medications and their effects is what they do for a living and any pharmacist I have ever asked about that kind of stuff has always been happy to help.
