I was taken off Haloperidol about 20 years ago because one morning I woke up blind. Has anyone else experienced this. I can only find one study where out of about 9000 people 18 experienced blindness.
ETA: The blindness resolved itself in a couple of days. Last edited by Anonymous37844; Nov 03, 2014 at 07:12 PM. |

That is very bizzare. I have never heard of it.
I had to take that god awful drug for a year. I hated it because of the ridgid muscles and not being able to sit still. I can't believe I was compliant.

That's scary! My mom took that years ago for psychosis but she didn't have that reaction. Although she was deathly allergic to it. It made her tounge and throat swell up. I feel so bad for what she has gone through and anybody else with psychosis. I couldn't even imagine how it feels. My depression and anxiety are crippling enough... I just couldn't imagine.
I hope they are not talking about having you start it again?
