So I found this out yesterday when I was checking my breasts for lumps late last night. I pressed down on them and a clearish-white liquid came out.

It didn't look like puss or anything, and I was wondering if it was breast milk. I had to confirm this by tasting it (yeah I know it was the weirdest thing I ever did). It tasted like milk, and I thought to myself, "I'm lactating???"

I told my mom this and we both agreed that I should notify my nurse practitioner the next time I see her.

I don't know if my meds are causing this but I take Lamotrigine 3mg, Resperidone 100mg, Amantadine 100mg, and Lithium 150mg and 300mg.

My dad was telling me that maybe I'm a holy virgin, or maybe I've been impregnated by Satan (Get it? Because I'm on Satan's side. aright, enough with religious references!!!).

Other than that, yes, I tasted my milk. I might as well pour myself a glass.

Maybe it would go good with some chocolate chip cookies.

Actually, that sounds pretty good right now.

Yep - it's the risperidone. I got that side effect too.

Risperdal does that to me too. It increases prolactin levels, causing you to lactate. If i squeezed mine, milk would come out. It won't really hurt you or bother you unless it's spontaneous meaning it comes out without squeezing it out, then you can ask to switch meds. But my pdoc is keeping me on mine.

Like everyone else posted, it's the Resperidone. I had lactation when I tried Resperidone years ago. My p-doc stopped the med.
