How long does it take for Sertraline/Zoloft to get out of system? Only took 25 mg for 2 weeks and half pill for 4 weeks before that. Can not take side effects!

When I was on it, my dose was 75 mg I think, but I can't remember how long. Probably less than a month. It took a couple of weeks for the withdrawal to stop. I got horrible brain zaps and constantly felt foggy. It was awful.

Not all medications are the same. I can't handle any antidepressants but the mood stabilizer lamictal is helping.

I definitely remember the foggy feeling. I felt like I was going to pass out all the time. I remember going shopping with my brother and all I wanted to do was lie down until the fogginess went away. It does go away, don't worry.

The feelings I have today I don't know if they are from coming off the meds or what? I feel lightheaded, nauseous , body tingle, face tingles I can't take this ! Worse today than yesterday. I'm so scared and worried. I called dr this morning and called back around 3pm. Still no word from him.

Doctors office is closed. They didn't call. Figures! I did call them and after hours person said she could give me no advice and would send the clinic another message. I only took 1/2 of a 25mg pill for 4weeks then went to 1 full 25mg for 2 weeks. The doctor told me to stop taking them because of the burning and tingly chin and lips. I didn't take them long so would withdrawals be this bad?

I had the same symptoms when I was withdrawing from Zoloft. Lightheaded, nauseous, body and face tingles. It took a few weeks to go away. Hopefully your doctor will get back to you.

Just didn't know what to expect. No response from doctor still think I'll find a new one. Today I'm not so bad but I feel like yuk! Thanks for response.
