Sometimes your body adapts to the medicine and you have what they call "Prozac poop-out" syndrome. Yeah it's really called that. ![]()

Talk to your doctor. One of the other types may work better. I had a lot of success from Welbutrin and Cymbalta.

Definitely talk to your doctor. There are so many antidepressant options out there, and it may even just be a matter of taking a different SSRI.

Talk to your doctor first.
Then consider that maybe SSRIs aren't the right way forward for you. Many people swear by them but my personal opinion: I wouldn't touch them again. I have symptoms now, years after stopping SSRIs which could very well be long term physical and emotional side effects but I'll never know for sure. I just know I wouldn't go near those things again by choice. They did work well in the early days but once a tolerance had built up they were no more helpful than cigarettes and twice as addictive - anything with withdrawal symptoms that bad is addictive, despite what so called experts say.
