I really question if should share my experiences or not, I will but please remember follow your doctor's instructions.

When I stopped using Lexapro I felt really good, great, for about a week and a half, then a quick slide back down into depression. Wasn't a horrible crash like stopping Effexor was for me.

Yes! I have reduced it before and was fine, but when missing a few doses, I get a really spinny head and it hurts! It feels kinda foggy too. I tried to go off it cold turkey once and lasted about a week and a half before the symptoms got too hard to handle and started back on it again... Are you trying to go off it? Or did you just miss a few doses?

I just posted about this a couple of weeks ago. I was taking 20mg of it, I had been taking it for about 9 months. My doc had me reduce to 10 mg for about 2 weeks, then said to stop...but I should have done my research sooner to cut the dose in half again because the past few weeks have been hell, I got sick, my anxiety and depression got worse, and I got ibs. I just got back from the doc today, a different one btw, since I couldn't keep food down and she prescribed a low dose of another ssri for the time being. I hope it helps.
So if you cut it off too soon and are experiencing symptoms of withdrawal. See your doc! I wish I had sooner.
