I just started taking Cymbalta and I feel odd. Im not as nervous anymore. I am having weird jerking movements. Is this something that goes away after a while? My feelings range from Majorely depressed to being apathetic. Can anyone help me out here?

Wellbutrin made me feel like a robot. I do recall feeling some crossover weirdness and brain zapping when I started Cymbalta but after it kicked in I felt much better.

I am in week 3 of starting Cymbalta. Just rx to double dosage this week.
I feel very nervous (unlike you) and very shaky, quaky inside and out. It's a very disturbing and unsettling feeling. How are you doing on Cymbalta by now? How did it go?

She is an artist without doubt disappointed that paradise was not as close in 1969 as she and so many others hoped it was. Her work is now filled with the reality of humanity's failure to achieve the prophetic dream of her song, but never without the hope that that day will yet come. |

Hi-
I take 60 mg caps of Cymbalta for depression. the first time I took that dose was for "pain"...my heart rate increase, I felt very strange and almost went to the ER(some place I dread)....It was probably due to the increase of Norepinephrine. So when I first aw the PNP, I let her know about how tachy I got, and she started me out on 30 mg...then after a month I went up to 60 mg. The side effect I had w/ the 60 caps was headaches...but iwas so depressed, I put up w/ them. Wellbutrin & Cymbalta are very different, maybe you need to start out on a lower dose? ![]()

Powerful chemicals concocted in labs altering powerful chemicals that occur naturally in our brains ... Yet, if I'm ever in that deep, dark abyss again ... I know I'll go back on them ... Unpleasant side effects or not ...
